The Pegasus is a symbol from Greek mythology. The winged horse, sired by Poseidon and Medusa, which according to legend can originate springs with its hooves. He is also said to be an ambassador between humans and angels. There is also a star constellation called Pegasus. As a power animal the Pegasus brings light in dark times, is connected to the universe/the divinity and confronts us also with the topics immortality/life/death and rebirth. The Pegasus lets our soul recognize its true origin and immortality.
There is also a category in a book about horse personalities by Klaus-Ferdinand Hempfling named after Pegasus ("What horses reveal: From first meeting to friends for life", K.-F. Hempfling, 2013). In summary, it can be said that this type of horse, according to the description of the book, has the task of teaching and spiritually accompanying its human being. This type of horse needs a lot of empathy. They are the perfect companions for those people who rate personal growth higher than performance. Because with too much pressure or expectations these animals experience clear stress until they perish sometime at it.
This beautiful work of art, which you can see above and in my logo, unmistakably shows the figure of Pegasus. It was created by the wonderful, intuitive and incredibly talented Angelika Walz ([email protected]). But it is not only ONE winged horse to see, but it contains TWO. It consists of my two heart horses, which accompanied me in Germany and are still with me in my heart:

Bear, who had accompanied me for several years, supported me with all the earthly topics. He is very connected to the earth. He is like a tree with deep roots and that is how I would describe our relationship. Down-to-earth, deep, familiar and storm-proof. He lost his right eye through periodic uveitis, but he coped well. Our relationship became even deeper through it. Bear taught me so much about being together, methodical content and also about boundaries. He is in his balance when everything runs in the same structures, is predictable and he doesn't have to decide everything freely. He does like to carry out his tasks in freedom, after appropriate request, but he wishes for a sovereign leader.
I realized very quickly that I had met a very different being with Tuck. I immediately had the feeling to face a being from other spheres. When I later got my hands on Hempfling's book and read the absolutely fitting description of this horse, it was official - a "Pegasus" had moved in with me. But only after my encounter with the wild mare Lumina, I could really understand him and understand his freedom. Tuck began to teach me and to take me on the journey to myself. His task is to open the heart and he brings so much light that he makes the people around him shine. He was and is clearly connected to the universe. But earthly he was often still uncertain and needed grounding by his human.
So both horses taught me that it was not only "either... or" there is. One animal searched for support and guidance, the other challenged me to look beyond my limits, to free myself and "fly" with him. But for their own balance it was important that I supported them in their tasks. For example, I helped Bear to find peace when the structures fell away and stood by Tuck when it came to interactions on an earthly level. So for our common balance I had to learn to respond individually to both and of course to integrate the differently mirrored feedback about myself as well.
It is quite clear that these two souls represent very different parts of being and also demand different parts of being in their counterparts.
And so it came to this picture as my logo:
It contains Tuck, with the light and the "seeing" eye.
It shows Bear, with the darkness of his blind side.
It describes the opposites, yin & yang, grounding & universe, unconscious & conscious, not seeing (not wanting to /not being able to see) & seeing.
There is not only one or the other - both united and integrated, leads us to inner balance.
Inner balance and harmony means opening the heart.
